Les photos du roi Mohammed VI, le montrant sans béquille dans un magasin à Paris, ont suscité une vague de commentaires sur les réseaux sociaux. De nombreux Marocains ont été rassurés de voir le Souverain en meilleure forme, après avoir eu quelques ennuis de santé.

Good to see the King relaxing. He has done well.
Back when he was crown prince he would call
Karim in New York and ask him to send him the latest CDs, Jet Skis
He liked Hip Hop Music and Karim was an expert on the subject ....

Once I was with Karim. We were driving. The phone rings. Yes a car phone.
We had been smoking funny cigarettes. That 's what we did those
days. Karim signals me to be quiet and answers the phone.

"Naam Smyet Sidi. Yes Smyet Sidi. Of Course Smyet Sidi. Right Away Smyet Sidi."
Karim all stoned did not dare say anything else ... He kept it simple.

Karim, his sister and their parents were sent by order of King Hassan
to live with one of his nephew who just lost his mother and sister of
King Hassan.

The nephew and Karim attended Pace University in New York.
Karim's father was a Gendarme in the Royal Palace and
his mother Al Hajja was a Fassia and a cook in the Palace.

Al Hajja took good care of us. She woud make us Couscous
on Fridays. She would invite us to the house when the prince
would go back to Morocco for the holidays. During the summer
Karim would stay by himself in the house. ..... A Beautiful house
in Scarsdale. New York. Party Time.

Moulay Rachid coming back from California stayed in that house ...
Lalla Meriem rented a house near her cousin's house and she would
walk to the house and sit in the kitchen and eat Hajja's delicious plates..

The thing that hit me was the fact that groceries were delivered
to the Royal Palace on EVERY flight (RAM) going from New York to
Casablanca. King Hassan ate the GOOD STUFF. The BEST.

How do I know? What a stupid question! The better
question to ask me is how good were the steaks.

I was eating like a King. Millions of people in New York
and I stumble into Karim. Mardi Al Walidine. I Tell you.
