1. What do you know about the Thiaroye Massacre?
As per the NY Times article, the Thiaroye Massacre is a cold-blooded crime that was committed by the French soldiers against an unarmed group of Senegalese soldiers who had fought for France in World War II but were killed on December 1, 1944.

2. Who did it?
According to the article, it was the French colonial forces who did it.

3. When did it happen?
It happened on December first, 1944, around 9:30 in the morning.

4. How many soldiers were brutally slaughtered in the Thiaroye Massacre?
The French government says that the number of the soldiers killed is 35, but historians from France and Senegal do not think so. They believe the real number is probably up to 400.

5. What answers are people of Senegal looking for today?
The government of Senegal wants the entire truth about how many soldiers were killed, why they were killed, and where they were buried. It also wants justice for such a brutal crime.
 
Shame on France, whatever the bodycount. I did not know anything about this crime, another blood stain in the glorified story we are supposed to believe 😒
